Primrose thrill!

April 03, 2015

What a treat to find so many luscious clumps of primroses growing wild in the woods today.
I have been pondering on the use of yellow for ages now and have come to the conclusion that the perfect shade would be something close to the pale yellow of wild primroses.
This vintage tea length fifties lace dress is pretty close...
I also love the idea of using soft yellow as an accent for spring prints.
Am working on this new eau-du-Nile and primrose blossom crepe for next spring. Do let me know if primrose floats your boat!??
Thanks to Freddie by the way (my budding four year old florist) for helping me pick so many primroses..
Happy Easter!
Hannah
