Preparation is under way for our coming trade shows and I wanted to make a delicate display piece to reflect our romantic new summer 2017 collection... A few hours later and a lot of grappling with wet willow and this meadow flower heart took shape.

I recommend Withycombe Fair for their naturalistic silk wild flowers, which I tied with straw and taffeta. S omerset Willow delivered the meter and a half long sticks which were supposed to be soaked for 24 hours, but luckily it rained and I forgot to bring them in from the garden.

I'm a great believer in happy accidents...
